Ohio Right To Life Endorses Koehler in March 19th Primary

"I want to thank Ohio Right To Life for recognizing my eight year record of fighting for the unborn during my time in the Ohio House of Representatives.

After four terms in office, people know that I am pro-life and that I believe that life begins at conception and should be protected.

Obviously, the voters in Ohio decided in November that some kind of access to abortion should be available in Ohio.  While I am disheartened by that, I also believe that Ohioans are not happy that the Constitutional Amendment also legalized partial-birth abortion in Ohio (where a full-term baby can be partially delivered and then killed before taking its first breath). 

Voters need to understand that I will be working to move Ohio from this new extreme and back towards a place where abortions are as rare as possible. It might be by altering the state constitution, changing Ohio law, or simply by continuing my family’s financial support of Pregnancy Resource Clinics, private adoption agencies, or our decision to financially help with over 19 adoptions among our friends and church family.

Once again, I want to thank Ohio Right To Life for recognizing where I stand on life in Ohio."
